I'm using a keyboard and mouse btw. I can left click the mouse (fire) to submerge underwater temporarily, but as soon as I try to swim (whether pressing forward or foward+sprint), I quickly come back up. I can only tell you what worked for me. I deleted the 'gta_sa.set' file in the "User Files" section. The location is C:\Users\ (your username)\Documents\GTA San Andreas User Files. Delete it (don't worry, it gets recreated when you start the game). Now start the game from the actual .exe file (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Grand i cant turn the camera at all weather im on foot or in a car but when i pause the mouse curser works but wont click anything i can only use ENTER ive tried setting
Pressing escape twice helps most of the time but sometimes I'll still end up resorting to restarting my laptop. sorry for my english because my native lenguage is spanish this problem when i iniciate the game don´t can play with mouse,before i reinstalled the game and when i choose the whatever thing i choose with the keys and when i play,for example i play whatever mision y play with normality
Aye, got a similar problem, but on win10 now. The mouse can be moved in the menu and clickable objects in the menu get highlighted and play their sound but clicks seem to be not registered. Ingame the mouse Right click the gta-sa.exe and go into properties. then go into the Compatibility Tab. Now check "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and click Windows XP (Service Pack 2) *important*. Then go look down and check and make sure to turn on: "Disable Visual Themes" and. "Disable Desktop Composition" and. YcIngsH.
