Far cry 5 coop does not work. I got the game on steam if that does anything to the problem?? I take it your in Alberta Canada? if that's the case my guess would be it selects the closest server in relation to your location (or just your ping results) and that particular server is having issues. best bet would be to try again soon and hopefully
A friend and I must've tried playing co-op anything for about an hour over the weekend. Prior to Far Cry 5 we've both played together in Rainbow Six Siege on Uplay, as well as Steam games like PUBG. Never had an issue. We both own FC5 on Uplay, and while I can see he's playing the game I can't join him.
Edit2: From Far Cry 5 troubleshooting. So it had the same issue at release. Have mentioned that to Ubisoft report on their forums in a thread about this that they were replying to. Co-op problems in Far Cry 5. Me and my friend just bought far cry 5 because it was really cheap. The game is great, but when we play missions on co-op, I won't unlock any of the vehicles. For example we did the Death Wish mission yesterday and he unlocked the car but I didn't. It's important to mention that we are playing on his world.
I was playing far cry 4 coop with my buddy on steam a couple of weeks ago and it was working fine, but I noticed a couple days back Steam had a Far Cry 4 Update and after this update coop STOPPED WORKING ENTIRELY and when your friends launch the game it doesnt even show that they are playing Far Cry 4 (On Ubisoft Connect) and I know that it used to show playing far cry 4, because I streamed
